Parking in the McLoughlin Neighborhood
The McLoughlin neighborhood is a walkable historic district with mostly on-street parking. Expect narrow streets and residents in their driveways — please park courteously.
Where to park
- Free on-street parking throughout the McLoughlin neighborhood — arrive early (before noon on Saturday) for the closest spots.
- Downtown Oregon City lots along Main Street are a short walk (or quick elevator ride up the Municipal Elevator) to the neighborhood.
- Singer Hill lot and side streets near the elevator are popular overflow options.
Please avoid
- Blocking driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants, or hosted porches.
- Parking on lawns or planting strips.
- Idling near performances — engine noise carries onto the porches.
Biking & Walking Routes
Porchfest is designed to be walked or biked. Every venue is within about a 10-minute walk of the next, and biking lets you catch more acts with zero parking stress.
Getting in by bike
- The Trolley Trail connects Milwaukie to Gladstone; from there it's a short ride across the bridge into Oregon City.
- From downtown, take the Municipal Elevator up to the McLoughlin neighborhood — bikes are welcome.
- Neighborhood streets are low-traffic and family-friendly during the festival. Ride slowly and watch for pedestrians and kids.
Bike parking
Lock up at the Main Stage bike corral or to any street sign near the porch you're visiting. Bring your own lock.
Food, Drink & Vendors
Food trucks and vendor booths cluster around the Main Stage. Grab a bite there between porch sets, or bring snacks and drinks to enjoy on the go.

We work every year to make Porchfest welcoming to everyone. Sidewalks in the McLoughlin neighborhood are historic and can be uneven — plan accordingly.

Insider Tips
- Pick 3–5 acts from the lineup ahead of time and build a loop on the map.
- Sets are short. If a porch is packed, walk to the next block — there's always another act starting soon.
- Tip the artists. Every performer plays for free. A few dollars in the tip jar goes a long way.
- Say hi to the hosts. These are real neighbors opening their homes. A thank-you means a lot.
